Hello, I’m Lyga.

I am Women’s Health and Fitness Coach online and in person.

Exercise to me is freedom. It’s medicine for my body and mind. I train for my future health, for my ‘old lady body’, not for a summer body. Summer bodies don’t last. Back in school, I used to skip PE classes because I felt self-conscious about how my body moved. I was stuck in my own limiting beliefs, and it affected how I felt in my own skin.

Now I understand that moving my body is essential for my overall health and well-being. It's a way to celebrate what my body can do and a form of self-care for my physical and mental health. Exercise makes me feel good, builds my strength, discipline, and mental and physical resilience which translate to all other areas of my life.

By thinking of movement as joyful and beneficial instead of a chore, I have gained a new appreciation for my body's capabilities. I now approach every opportunity to move with excitement to explore. It’s a journey of self-discovery, where I constantly push past my own limits and appreciate the amazingness of a human body.

    I’ve been doing online coaching with Lyga for six months now and the results I’ve seen not only in terms of physical health but also mental calm, discipline and consistency have been phenomenal. She has also really helped my relationship with food and helped me try to break away from body-image issues & body dysmorphia. She’s a true example of work on your strength, both body & mind, and the rest will follow. While we’re half way across the world, Lyga keeps a tab on my workouts and form (videos I send her) and gives me suggestions and corrections, she also takes my knee injuries into account and provides the best exercises while being cautious of my knees. To say Lyga has been life-changing might sound like an exaggeration, but actually is an understatement.     Lyga is an amazing PT, I was a 1-2-1 personal training client and every session she pushed me to new limits. I started off hip thrusting 60kg but ended up at 140kg with Lyga’s help. She focused on correcting my form and really coaching me on challenging my body to do more. Best PT I have ever had!!!
