Where do you offer personal training?
I currently provide personal training sessions at The Gym Group in West Croydon. Please get in touch if you’d like to book or find out more.
Do I need to have experience in the gym before starting personal training with you?
No experience needed! My training sessions are tailored to all fitness levels. I’ll work with you to create a plan that suits your fitness background, goals, and any specific needs you may have.
How often should I book personal training sessions?
This depends on your goals and availability. Many clients benefit from one to three sessions per week, though this can vary. We can discuss what works best for you during a consultation.
What’s included in online coaching?
My online coaching includes personalised workout programmes, regular check-ins, and access to the coaching app, where you can track your workouts and monitor progress. You'll also receive guidance on goal setting, nutrition, and maintaining accountability.
How do you keep me accountable in an online setting?
Through the coaching app, we’ll track your progress, and you’ll have regular check-ins with me for feedback, adjustments, and support.
What is LIFT WITH LYGA?
LIFT WITH LYGA is my online group programme focused on strength and confidence-building. You’ll follow a structured programme with weekly workout plans, gain access to a supportive Facebook group, and benefit from monthly live Q&A sessions. The spaces for the program will open soon, but you can apply now by clicking here.
How is LIFT WITH LYGA different from 1-2-1 coaching?
LIFT WITH LYGA is a group coaching programme where members follow a structured workout plan. For a more personalised approach, 1-2-1 coaching offers tailored training, regular check-ins, and direct adjustments based on your individual progress and goals.
What is a Nutrition Protocol, and what does it include?
A Nutrition Protocol is a custom plan that fits your lifestyle, goals, and preferences. It includes a detailed guideline on macronutrient targets, meal ideas, and strategies to build sustainable eating habits. This is not a prescriptive meal plan but rather a flexible approach to help you make informed food choices.
Do I need to track my food intake?
Tracking is optional but recommended for optimal results, especially in the early stages. I can guide you on how to approach this in a balanced way.
What if I need support with my nutrition protocol?
If you purchase the Nutrition Protocol with support, you'll have ongoing guidance from me via email. Support details will be included in your email when you receive the protocol.
I’m new to weightlifting; will your training style suit me?
Absolutely! Many of my clients are new to weightlifting. My programmes focus on helping you gain confidence, learn proper form, and build strength gradually.
How can I get started?
Please use the contact form on the website, and we’ll set up an initial consultation to discuss your goals and how I can support you.
Do you work with women at all stages of life?
Yes, I work with women at all stages, including those experiencing peri-menopause, menopause, post-pregnancy recovery, and those needing pelvic floor support. I'm fully certified in The Female Body and The Female Body – Menopause courses by The Well HQ.
Can I ask questions outside of my coaching sessions?
Yes, if you’re a client, you’ll have support through my coaching app or, if you’re part of LIFT WITH LYGA, access to the community Facebook group where I answer questions regularly, and if you’re 1-2-1 client then you can message me any time.
What insurance coverage do you have as a trainer?
I am fully insured with Insure4Sport, providing public liability cover up to £2,500,000 and professional indemnity cover up to £2,500,000. This ensures a safe and professionally protected training experience.
Can I train with you if I have an injury?
Yes, as long as you’ve been cleared by a medical professional or GP, you can train with me, either in person or online. However, if your injury requires specialised rehabilitation, your GP may refer you to a specialised personal trainer or physiotherapist to support your recovery safely. Once cleared, I’m here to help you rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence in a safe and supportive way.
Do you train women with PCOS?
Absolutely! I have experience working with women with PCOS and understand the unique challenges it can bring to fitness and health. My training approach is personalised to support hormone balance, sustainable fat loss, and overall well-being, helping you feel your best and achieve your goals in a way that suits your body’s needs.
Do you provide meal plans?
No, I don’t provide prescriptive meal plans. Instead, I create customised nutrition protocols tailored to your lifestyle, goals, and food preferences. This approach empowers you to build sustainable habits without rigid restrictions. For specific meal plans, I recommend consulting a registered dietitian.
Why don’t you share before and after photos of clients?
I focus on health, strength, and confidence over aesthetics. My coaching philosophy values each person’s unique journey, and I believe that progress is more than just a visual change. By not sharing before and after photos, I aim to promote body positivity and a supportive environment for all my clients.
What qualifications do you have?
I am a Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer, certified by The Well HQ in the Female Body and Menopause. I regularly run pelvic floor health workshops at the gym and have been working with women in person for over two years. This hands-on experience, combined with specialised training, has equipped me with a broad range of knowledge to support women at every stage of their fitness journey.
What are your prices?
One-to-one personal training sessions start at around £55 per hour (please contact me for up to date pricing), with discounts available on packages. Online coaching is a more budget-friendly option starting from £60 per month, and the most affordable choice is the online group coaching program, LIFT WITH LYGA. Additionally, I offer a free Gym and Training Guide as a helpful resource for those just starting out.
Do you have any client reviews I can read?
Absolutely! You can read reviews on my TrustPilot page to see how others have benefitted from working with me.
